Brookhaven's landfill stopped accepting construction and demolition debris at the end of 2024, which has made it harder and more expensive for homeowners to get rid of renovation waste on their own. We haul it to licensed transfer facilities and the cost is built into your quote. The town's curbside bulk program still runs, but it's limited to a few items on scheduled days and nothing from inside.
